Where's everyone again?

Postby Bob » Mon Dec 01, 2014 7:33 am

Hi guys,
I learned the game about three weeks ago. And I'm really fond of it. Since I'm from China, and the game is not as popular here, I can hardly find someone to play with. Actually I have two friends who also play a lot, but we just can't find a fourth player. So i find this website, hoping to play online. But I barely see another human here. So where is everybody?

Hi Bob, yeah the lack of online players has been the main issue for the past few years - we've tried contacting a few video/board game review websites but no luck so far.

I was wondering if you had any ideas for attracting new players?
(e.g. is there anyone you know who might be interested in doing a review of Tropic Euro on their website or blog?)

Lately the best thing that can happen is get your game into Steam Greenlight. But that means developing a client which runs through Steamworks or something. That way you open yourself up to a larger audience.
